What to expect on a residential project

With our living spaces being used more now than ever, many people have been looking at adapting or expanding the space they have and will have many questions as to what to expect when hiring a contractor to complete a residential project in their home.

As a contractor, BWP Plastering Services Ltd are able to design, create and oversee the project from start to finish. We have answered some of the questions you may have.

What will the timeframe be?

All projects vary in timescales due to specification, size and drying times. We always aim to provide a timeframe that covers all eventualities so you are aware of the maximum amount of time your project may take at the initial design stage.

Does someone need to be at home?

We are happy to be left on jobs without someone at home, however we ask that pets are kept out of the way and areas are cleared to work in for our public liability.

Will my house be kept clean?

Spaces in which we are working with be covered and cleaned each day with a thorough clean at the end of the project.

When and how do payments need to be made?

A payment schedule will be provided once the job has been agreed. This will be outlined in your contract. Payment is accepted via BACS.

How much communication will we get throughout the project?

Do you offer any aftercare/ guarantees?

On new projects, we offer a 12-month guarantee. Any restoration such as going over old product or brick work is not covered under this guarantee.
